Nothing's Perfect

Well, as so often happens, I am stuck on one part of a new song that I am writing. Usually for me, this part is the bridge. Bridges most often are the most difficult part of a song for me. This time, however, it is the last verse. I think I strayed too far away from what was real about the song's story. I think I may need to rethink the title and the concept behind it. The current title is Nothing's Perfect. It is a little bit of a downer but with redeeming qualities. The main thing that gets me so frustrated with this world is that nothing is perfect and that it takes a fraction of a second to scuff a shoe, scratch your car, or even lose a loved one. The redeeming part of the song I was trying to portray was to also say that you don't need to be so hard on yourself if you are not perfect, because nothing is and you just need to do your best. Wish me luck and keep an ear out for it soon on the music page.
